Telehealth - Report on the Project Released
Two years on, and the Telehealth Demonstration Project is done and dusted. Its been an amazing journey and has uncovered a lot of down to earth, practical information about what works in telehealth in New Zealand and which applications are ahead of their time.
My greatest feeling of satisfaction is tied to the video services now available from Ngati Porou Hauora along the eastern side of East Cape, supported by Tairawhiti District Health. They are already making a real difference to people's lives and are showing the way of the future for isolated communities.
For me its time to move on - the next challenge is looming.
